The current state of the organization resembles the Zachman enterprise architecture model with a goal to achieve personalized learning as their service provided through information systems. The Zachman Framework has six perspectives which are identified in this organization:
What: Personalized Learning
How: Curriculum with an emphasis on blended learning
Where: School employees
Who: Trained teachers, students, coaching and support staff
When: Within the 4 year window of RTTT Grant
Why: To achieve a 21st century personalized learning school model
This organization expressed a vision for the future when working to obtain the Race to The Top Grant. This vision can easily become the goal of the framework. Personalizing education and promoting it through blended learning is a goal that should be the driving force of the organization. Keeping department plans separate as is currently done works against moving forward in the most efficient way possible. Doing away with separate technology and facilities plans is the first step in creating a clear focus.
